Pre-Existing Conditions (Top 100)
One of the greatest things about the Affordable Care Act (ACA, or “Obamacare”) was that it was illegal for an insurance company to ask about your past medical history when you signed up for insurance. This protection didn’t just apply to the marketplace plans under the ACA—it applied to EVERY healthcare plan in the country. This protection and others are often overlooked when people have a knee-jerk negative reaction to Obamacare. There are protections for EVERYONE whether or not they have an ACA marketplace plan.
Under the Trump/Ryan AHCA, that protection from discrimination against your past medical history—or pre-existing conditions—is gone.
What is a pre-existing condition you ask?
“It’s probably just some sick person thing. Someone didn’t take care of themselves, huh? Ate too many shit burgers and now they have heart disease, I bet.”
Here’s a short list of the pre-existing conditions that aren’t covered under Trump/Ryan AHCA:

I counted 12 that I have.
Others on Twitter and elsewhere have noted that erectile dysfunction isn’t in the list. That’s about right for a bunch of limp dicked Republican congressmen. Save our Viagra!
Under the Trump/Ryan AHCA, you could be denied coverage for a serious illness or at the very least pay higher premiums or receive reduced coverage for a condition you were born with. It’s separate and unequal coverage for the most common of ailments most of Americans will encounter even before they’ve gotten their first job with a heath insurance plan of their own.
Not only they killing our seniors with serious illnesses, our middle aged (me) who’ve started to rack up those doctor visits, but also the infants who are born with a genetic or congenital disorder.
It’s callous and immoral.
