Winner at DIA Munich
On Oct. 18, HiNounou won the Special Award for Insurtech with the Most Transformative Impact at DIA (Digital Insurance Agenda) Munich. DIA is the world’s biggest insurTech event, bringing the world’s top insurance companies, innovators and start-ups together, all under one roof.
Out of thousands of potential start-ups, 50 of these coming from 28 countries were selected to pitch at the Digital Insurance Agenda Munich. Incredibly, HiNounou came first, winning the Top 1 prize for Transformative Impact. This incredible award includes an exclusive Meet&Greet with InsurTech Hub Munich board members, 3 air tickets and a booth at Plug and Play InsurTech Expo — Winter Summit 2018 at Silicon Valley.

CNBC live TV interviews HiNounou Founder & CEO
On Oct. 26th, Charles Bark, founder & CEO of HiNounou was interviewed live at CNBC TV in Singapore. Charles did a great job at highlighting HiNounou’s unique combination of AI, robotics, IoT, DNA genomics, and blockchain powered insurTech solutions, as well as sharing our personal mission to help seniors live Longer, Healthier and Happier, at home.
Pitch at Shanghai Innovation Talents Conference
On Oct. 16–18, HiNounou was honored to be selected as one of 56 start-ups out of 719 to pitch at the Shanghai Innovation Talents Conference organized by the Shanghai municipal government. Here we showcased our innovation in front of top Chinese government officers, enterprises and innovators.
EFNI and New Industry Expo in Poland
On Sept. 26–28, our CEO, Charles Bark, was honored to be invited to speak at the VIII Edition European Forum for New Ideas EFNI and “New Industry Expo” in Poland, where he discussed about the outlook for emerging economies and digital transformation in China.
Guest lecturer at TRIUM EMBA and CEIBS MBA
On Nov. 7–8, HiNounou’s CEO Charles Bark was honored to be invited as a guest lecturer to share his entrepreneurial journey as well as HiNounou’s strong innovation to students of the top-ranked TRIUM Global Executive MBA (NYU Stern, LSE, HEC Paris) and China Europe International Business School (CEIBS).
Trip in Silicon Valley
As one part of the DIA Award, HiNounou has been offered 3 air tickets and a booth at Plug and Play Winter Summit on Dec. 4–6 at Silicon Valley. Plug and Play Tech Center is one of the biggest American seed & early stage VC and accelerators. Our CEO Charles Bark received personal supports from its founder-CEO Saeed Amidi. We are looking forward to more future cooperations with Plug and Play!

Top renowned Asian insurance magazine, Asia Insurance Review, interviewed our CEO Charles Bark and AXA Partners Singapore CEO Julie Ing. The two CEOs explained how they elaborated on an insurance-as-a-service solution for China’s elderly.

The whole HiNounou Team is in full preparation for the Polish market. We have launched the product testing and have signed the MOU with our potential partner in Poland. More details will be disclosed once we have finalized all the details.
