The fight between paper and screen

Our world has turned digital.

From billboards to books, everything is available on a glowy screen.

It’s true that the digital world has its benefits. We are connected now, more than ever. Information from all over the world is at our fingertips. We get real-time updates on what is going on in the world. We can call and see our friends on the other side of the globe within seconds.

I’d never want to lose the privilege of being able to see my loved ones from thousands of miles away.

Sometimes I just imagine what a time traveler from 100 years ago or 200 years ago would feel if he were to end up in our world today.

Will he go insane? Or will he chalk everything up to magic?

You can see a glimpse of how such a person would feel in this video where a man who was released from prison after 44 years reacts to technology.

“Look. On the windows? We ain’t seen nothing on (…) windows but people. Walking by. Not no video.” — Otis Johnson

The World Has Changed…

There is no denying that.
