You shouldn’t be writing columns if your knowledge of the deal is that limited. In what world is Mo Harkless making 10mil a year as a 24 year old a bad contract? If Ryan Anderson’s contract wasn’t completely horrible, then a deal would already be done. And you don’t seem to understand it wouldn’t be “for free”. For free would be what Houston is offering, a terrible Anderson contract for a team that doesn’t even want to be better. Leonard’s deal is half as expensive, and with it you get both a good young player on a good contract and a 1st round pick. Both things MUCH more valuable to a team like New York. Melo would already be on the Blazers if it were the Knicks decision. Our offer is much better than both the Cavs or Rockets.

I’m not sure why you think Turner or Crabbe’s deals are relevant, outside of you trying to trash the team. Neither of them would be involved.
