Pridefully Unprejudiced

As a newly annual tradition, I joined up with my uni to march in London’s Pride Parade. Amazingly, with the promiscuous façade that I saw last year, pride people are very political and often insightful.

Joining the parade itself for the first time was daunting but everyone made it fun and comfortable and safe!

And to top that, barely anyone gossiped about who’s sleeping with who but rather we talked about brexit, immigration, Orlando, racism, internalised homophobia and transphobia, intercommunity misogyny etc.

It was overwhelming (and surprising!) although to be fair I did “judge a book by its cover” and its safe to say that I won’t be doing that anymore for a long long long time.

I don’t have much to say about it anymore so enjoy some pictures!
