Hello Daniel Burka, I liked your article, in (my opinion) general part of UI’s the overflows/hamburger/dots/dropdows/etc, are at some point lazy UX, but the world is not ready to rethink the interactions(at lest in my country), maybe in a couple of years :) and we can make use of some (yet to discover) great interactions to replace the current ones.

But i can’t put everything in the same bag, because each project has it’s own needs, and in some projects it makes sense, on the UI part, and others on the UX part.
