Completely agree, I my honest opinion i think that depending on how the skeletons are implemented is the biggest driver for positive impact or negative, this is my assumption! But i’ll try to get real data and insights on this in the upcoming months!

Hello Daniel Burka, I liked your article, in (my opinion) general part of UI’s the overflows/hamburger/dots/dropdows/etc, are at some point lazy UX, but the world is not ready to rethink the interactions(at lest in my country), maybe in a couple of years :) and we can make use of some (yet to discover) great interactions to replace the current ones.
