-Google is not ‘just’ a private company. They control the majority of the world’s online information, interaction, knowledge and opinion. Therefore it should be kept on a short leash at all costs.

-’Being inclusive’ by doing women favours and patronising them as victims to the white man, is not what makes Google a lucrative business, at all.

-Because an individual in any corporation ‘doesn’t matter’ doesn’t mean public opinion doesn’t matter or shouldn’t be expressed against said unwritten policy.

-A guy wrote a memo. Was fired for disrupting the (fake) facade of the company. He was also targeted for physical violence, massive lobbying against him for any future employment. Was publicly labelled the worst kind of insults in polite society. All he did was to say people should be valued individually not as a group. He didn’t kill or rape anyone. He had an opinion that was publicly leaked. And a major corporation fired him for it, and threw him to the dog pit.

-Ignoring injustice or bigotry or caving in to fear is not how things move forward. Damore did well in going in to Google, he did well in expressing himself. We accept Google is a private company and can do whatever it wants, the same way we can do whatever we want, case in point, calling out how absurd and fascist the colourful facade of one of the most influential brands in the world is on the inside.

-The backlash is mainly people standing their ground saying: Fuck you! to big corporations controlling our freedoms and expressions, especially freedom of thought and intellectual diversity.

-Fuck Google. And fuck its human resources department.
