I stumbled across TJSON today. It stands for tagged JSON and is a tiny data representation language built on top of JSON. Using a postfix syntax for key names to specify the type of data in the value it solves a lot of JSON problems and adds a few bells and whistles like binary data, timestamps, typed arrays and signed and unsigned integers.
