Devotional- The Excellence of Love

NIV 1 Corinthians 13:6–7: Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Todays devotional talks about the love of God. A lot of times in our daily walk, it is easy to get upset with someone as well as do and say hurtful things. We are called to love one another even our enemies, plus if one lives in truth there isn’t much to be upset about because it will reveal itself. As true servants of God, we must try to carry compassion so that the love we give may bless someone else. The scripture tells us all of the qualities of love such as being patient and kind,and that we are nothing without it. Many individuals do not have a clear understanding of what it is to love but it is all in Gods word. Let Gods love shine through you today in every situation! Have a wonderful and blessed day!
