Claude Dargan’s Favorite Story of Week

On this past Tuesday, Illinois house of representative Aaron Schock has announced that he is resigning from his current position. Most sources and assumptions from critics point that his reasoning is possibly because of the current scandal that Schock has been caught in. There have been heavy questioning on the immense finances being spent by Schock on personal leisure activities and lavish gifts and material objects including his office which was designed to look like a setting in the show Dowton Abbey.

Schock resignation does not come to much surprise as the citizens have generally been frowning upon on the possible usage of taxpayers funds being spent on Schock’s materialism. An election for a new represetnaive needs to be scheduled within the week and this could possibly contirbute to a movement of residents calling out and questioning the actions of their local politicians.
