On January 12th, the Chief Brand Officer of Shambala, Monica Bean, joined a live Ask Me Anything session on the official OKC Telegram channel and answered questions from the OKC team.

The purpose of the event was to introduce Shambala to the OKC Community.

The following is a recap of the AMA.

We have noticed that new features were added soon after the game was launched, and the game’s playability has been enhanced. How do you position the first game launched by Balagame?

Monica Bean: You have a keen perception. We are indeed strengthening the entertainment and playability of the game, and weakening the pure gold-making function. We believe that the pure gold-making game is unhealthy and cannot be operated for a long time. The goal of Balagame is to be a decentralized gaming platform. We will continue to operate for many years and continue to launch high-quality games so that users can continue to obtain NFT assets while having an entertaining experience.

What kind of platform is Balagame aiming to be? How to cooperate with third-party game development teams?

Monica Bean: After the first GameFi product is launched, Balagame will focus on the development of GameFi’s underlying protocol, a decentralized game platform, to facilitate third-party game studios or individuals to create their own GameFi products in Balagame. In 2022, we expect that more traditional game studios will enter the field of encrypted games and launch a new generation of encrypted games that not only provide economic incentives and real ownership but also provide first-class gameplay.

This is a bit similar to Gala’s platform model. Balagame will form a game matrix in the future, carefully selecting products suitable for our platform from the products developed by excellent game teams around the world, to meet the diverse entertainment needs of users and enrich the game ecology of the platform.

We are about to provide early fundraising (IDO) and initial game product release (IGO) for games in the ecosystem.

Are there plans for the next game?

Monica Bean: The preliminary planning has been completed, and it will be a high-quality NFT chain game.

Is there a clear plan and time to be listed on exchanges?

Monica Bean: It will definitely be listed on a number of major exchanges. We have already received listing invitations from some exchanges. We will go online at the established rhythm. You won’t be disappointed.

It says that you are going to sign a star. Has it been confirmed yet?

Monica Bean: Yes, it has. We will announce the news soon. He will be the first A-list star to join Shambala Metaverse. There will certainly be many world-class stars in the future.

We’d like to know the plan for the future avatar NFT. Will the Avatar NFT be integrated into the game in the future?

Monica Bean: Shambala Metaverse is a long-term project. The NFT of the Shambala Avatar is the identity of Shambala’s virtual world. There will be scarce and normal versions of different levels, which will not only have a collection value but also be tied to the game, such as improving mining efficiency, tickets for virtual concerts, etc.

We noticed that Shambala was positioned as a metaverse project from the very beginning. Shambala’s future is not just a game platform, right? What is the vision for the future? Is it also a virtual world like The Sandbox?

Monica Bean: Yes, Shambala metaverse will be launched for public access very soon. We have been preparing for this for a long time. It has similarities with The Sandbox and Decentraland, yet has its own unique positioning.

Shambala is the art metaverse. It supports the creator economy, attracts all kinds of art creators from all over the world to settle on the platform; transforms players into creators, and promotes the expansion of players from games to encrypted art, music, architecture, fashion, photography, art exhibitions, collections and museums, etc., to promote the entire ecosystem into a new world of virtual art and entertainment.

Could you please introduce Shambala’s virtual art world in detail?

Monica Bean: Shambala metaverse is a virtual art, entertainment and business world. Encrypted artwork, film, television, fashion, architecture and games, etc. all have exclusive areas on the Shambala, where creators can display their contents, fans can experience immersive experiences, and talented individual creators rise to fame.

It is also a decentralized economy. With a LAND, you have your own territory. If you are a creator, you can build your own studio to provide fans with experience and NFT transactions. If you are an art enthusiast, you can build exhibition halls or art booths to display works you own or you like.

You can create, socialize, invest, and experience on Shambala metaverse. The platform will provide complete infrastructure and an economic system, allowing artists and creators to play. Good works created will bring in a generous income. While gaining an immersive art and entertainment experience, collectors, art lovers, and game players can also participate in investments to make a profit.

Why choose to be an art metaverse?

Monica Bean: Why does Shambala Metaverse support the creator economy? Take music as an example. Record companies control copyright and Internet companies control the distribution of traffic. Even top musicians don’t have the right to price their own music. Musicians in the middle and long tail certainly need a “value discovery platform” to regain the control rights to their fans. The important thing is that in Shambala metaverse, musicians can not only create their own virtual images, communicate and interact with other people, but also offer their fans an immersive audio and entertainment experience through digital scenes such as virtual live broadcasts and virtual concerts.

To be a successful creator, you don’t need to reach the “million fan level”.As a craftsman, photographer, musician, designer, writer, animator, app maker, entrepreneur or inventor, you only need a few thousand real fans to make a living. Real fans will buy anything you produce.

Creators, no matter how niche they are, will find their true fans in Shambala metaverse in the future. The fans will show their enthusiasm through the most direct financial support.

When is the Shambala metaverse product expected to go online? The land pre-sale will start soon, right? We’re eager to know if the land we bought in Bala game can be used in the future Shambala metaverse.

Monica Bean: Shambala metaverse products are expected to go online in the first half of 2022, initially estimated from April to May. In late January, a round of pre-sales of land will be held for global users.

The ecological land in Shambala is the most important asset. Game platforms will settle in, becoming an important part of Shambala metaverse Entertainment. The in-game land purchased by users prior will also be transferred to Shambala metaverse.

We heard that when Shambala virtual world product is launched, there will be virtual concerts held by world-renowned musicians. Is it true?

Monica Bean: Yes, it is. We have been communicating with the musicians about it. What is exciting is that more than one world-class musician is willing to participate, and they all hope to be the one who holds the very first concert in Shambala metaverse.
