What goes into a successful wine country? A lot of different factors, from the soil that grows the grapes to the art and architecture the region inspires. We compared Armenia’s wine country, settled in the plain between Mt. Ararat and Mt. Aragats, to California’s Wine Country north of San Francisco. The two regions may be half a world apart, but they have some remarkable similarities.

ONEArmenia’s campaign, Farm-to-Bottle, is investing in the small grape farmers from Armenia’s wine country to provide them with the tools and expertise that will allow them to reach the potential of California grape farmers, and establish themselves as a point of interest for wine tourists around the world.
