Christopher George Latore Wallace, most commonly known as the notorious B.I.G, was an American rapper and considered by many as the best rapper of all time.
Deferring from his stage name the notorious B.I.G called himself “the black frank white” based on a character portrayed in the movie ‘king of New York’, a drug dealer who went from broke and rough to rich and classy. Or “from ashy to classy”
Seeing similarities between his own lifestyle and the character, the rapper renamed himself “the black frank white” and crowned himself the king of New York, a title that was also inspired by the movie.
