The Obama White House
4 min readSep 26, 2015

This week, President Obama welcomed His Excellency Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China, to the White House for an official State Visit. This reciprocates President Obama’s State Visit to China in November 2014, making it the tenth state affair of the Obama administration.

“Our work together — to increase our trade, boost the global economy, fight climate change and prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon — shows that when the United States and China work together, it makes our nations and the world more prosperous and more secure.” — President Obama to Chinese President Xi Jinping
