Started in the 80’s and Allen Hynek called it a “UFO laboratory"

Photo taken by Kurt Anderssen in 1982. It is taken close to the main road in Hessdalen, towards a flashing light above the mountain Finnsåhøgda.

Hessdalen is located in Norway. Reports of the mysterious lights go back to at least 1981 with a scientific investigation that was set up in 1983. The report was published in 1984 and Dr. Allen J. Hynek of famed Blue Book investigation visited the site.
