Faced With a Democratic Crisis, America Won’t Stop Blaming Brilliant Women
Sarah Lerner

I blame Trump’s victory on the delusional power structure within the DNC — a mix of men and women. They fielded an unpopular candidate and lost. The fact that a totally uncredentialed buffoon won tells us credentials don’t really matter to the US voter.

Bernie would have won handily and a woman with the same message as Bernie would also have won — probably by an even greater margin. What’s unclear is whether a woman with Trump’s message could have won. It’s very hard for me to picture that combination.
