The following is my response to an email question on Armageddon which reads:
“…we are somewhat in agreement on Armageddon. There has been revolution and anarchy since 1914 as you say, but I understand the most violent and destructive feature will overthrow the nominal church and present governments...”
Pastor Charles Taze Russell was fully correct with the prognostication, if not perfect, of what was to be expected at this time — War, Revolution and ultimately Anarchy. This is exactly what we are seeing today. More and more people agree that we are in Anarchy now, without any knowledge of Bible prophecies.
This drama is heading toward the grand climax of the continuing battle between conservatives and radicals we were taught to expect which we understand is “The Battle of Armageddon”. Ever since 1874 and particularly since 1914 we have witnessed the growing division of right versus left, socialism versus nationalism, and the battle is growing hotter by the minute.
It appears we are on the brink of a bloody civil war. There can be no doubt at this point that in America there is a deep state coup d’etat against the current elected president which is a conspiracy that cuts right to the heart of the matter. The stories coming out this topic are truly earth-shaking. We are witnessing the ongoing destruction of nations and also the expected downfall of the papacy.
Every day dozens of people lose their livelihood over political views. The boycotts and ostracization we see currently happening are the great antitypical French Revolution and antitypical destruction of Jerusalem of 70 AD that we were taught to expect, yet few today understand.
Just as in the types aforementioned when there were crucifixions and beheadings, today we see the same conditions figuratively, as every day people are attacked either physically or financially, fired or even hunted for their political thoughts and words.

It is likely most people who do not avail themselves of alternative media sources like Breitbart, GatewayPundit, Infowars etc. are not completely aware of the situation. The mainstream media is mostly “fake news”. This is revealed in government documents, that the major networks are the paid “Mockingbird media” and are part of a globalist agenda which is being resisted by patriots of many nations.
Most people have certainly not read Pastor Russell’s 4th Volume, since he was erased from history by the fake news of his day. Therefore they don’t see socialists, communists, anarchists — radicals of every stripe — going up against conservative principals as applying in any way to the biblical Battle of “Armageddon”. As he explained, it would be a future war of right versus wrong, truth versus error, with the melting of societal elements caused by the Truth going out across all lines battering down the falsehoods throughout the world. Events of the day bring into sharp relief brother Russell’s clear explanations of the nature of this battle. How violent will this become? That is the question.
