1. Bacco Ristorante. Bacco Ristorante is managed by the three-time James Beard Best Chef: Great Lakes semifinalist Luciana del Signore. A multi-time Restaurant of the Year in Detroit, Bacco has also garnered praise from the likes of Gourmet, Zagat, and Wine Spectator. In addition to amazing food, the Southfield restaurant offers one of the best Italian wine selections in the region.
2. Due Venti. Owned and managed by the husband-and-wife team of David and Nicole Seals, this Clawson eatery is both modern and rustic, offering a high standard of fare in a comfortable, mom-and-pop atmosphere. Due Venti focuses on Northern Italian cuisine, with the caramel-fennel-sea salt gelato standing out among its many delicious menu options.
3. Bigalora Wood Fired Cucina. There are several locations in Detroit, which means more pizza for everyone. Bigalora’s menu includes classic Neapolitan pizzas as well as delicious salads and homemade pastas. The restaurant also boasts a great selection of craft beer.
