*#KhakiStories* Ep4

My searching period was the driest period, I didn't see my flow, it was that terrible, I was pregnant with a toxic relationship that further suffocated the little Grace I had. I wouldn't say I was unfortunate, I learnt how not to search.

By now you already know the first few months for me was all about 'testing the waters' infact my craving for a place of worship was another war I fought internally till the sixth month. It was safe to say I never really went to church in those times, yes, 6months.

So you are bothered why I had to bring church into this again? This is my experience remember, and this part of it came with lessons.

While others will say it doesn't matter, well, it does to me and Infact it matters to all. We have just succeded in building a wall to shut the truth. It's just a simple fact.

Yes, I scouted, I went from one to the other, I had a craving I couldn’t explain but I know it when I find it and When I eventually did, there was nothing like it, those times were moments I will never trade. At this point I had consistently built a thick wall of 'you can’t buy me over’, damn you Delilah.

Dear young believer, you are not average, what keeps you going is the heat in the fire place, the intensity of yesterday can't keep you refreshed today. Refire!

It saddens my heart to see youngsters who settle for acute mediocrity in the guise of being believers, I mean someone does not even know the meaning of SDGs yet you think you are safe? God doesn't replace ignorance. Work it out.

Taking up a space was my call, I had a vision to launch out and launch out real deep, if must do it at all, then it must be felt. Staying back in a dry land was enough, I can't afford to die of thirst. So I dug a well, guess what? You also drank from it.

We will be fine, yes, we will be alright but beyond that we can do better. Mediocrity is a clan that's not found in Christianity. Take a stand and be willing to die for it.
