Small is Beautiful: Why Desktop UX still has something to teach Mobile
Scott Jenson

Great article and the insight into the features that people need over a mobile are spot on. We’re starting to head that way like in Microsoft’s Continuum or how Ubuntu’s older project of Ubuntu touch when plugged in displays a full-on Ubuntu OS. The problem is that you need to sit down at a desk to work on it as it’s emulating a desktop setup and the fact that mobile just isn’t power enough yet to do any major work.

I tend to use the laptop for more intensive stuff but will use my phone/tablet to respond to anything simple like email.
