Designing User Interfaces for My Mother
Tony Gines

When it comes to touch-screens, I found one of the biggest problem for designing for the older generation is a lot of them don’t understand the difference between a tap and a press.

I tell someone to tap on this and they touch it for far to long. Often causing another action that just confuses them.
