If you were in a situation where you had to choose only one skill to retain in your life, which one would you choose?

I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about this hypothetical scenario. Moreover, it stemmed from the question “What is the most important skill I’d like to instil in my future children?”

I believe that curiosity is the single most important skill you can have in life no matter what metric you evaluate “success” by and curiosity is what I would choose, without a single doubt.

First, what exactly is curiosity?
Curiosity is the desire to learn or know more about something. It’s the drive to seek out new information, experiences, and understanding. It’s the willingness to explore, ask questions, and discover.

It’s also about being open-minded and willing to challenge our own beliefs and assumptions.
When we are curious, we are more likely to be empathetic and understanding of others, which truth be told, we all need more of nowadays.

Curiosity can manifest in different ways and you can consciously become more curious by:

  • Asking questions about the world around you and how it works. Stay open…
