Ashley I can’t believe there aren’t any comments yet on this great article, so I’ll go first….

Nice work! It’s refreshing to read an article that actually offers tips for how to make remote work … work, and all from a personal lens rather than someone observing.

The thing that resonated with me the most was your thinking about culture. A strong cultural foundation is a prerequisite. Working remotely won’t paper over the cracks. On the contrary.

Like any relationship between humans, it needs constant effort and care. Working remotely just means we interact with each other differently. If those interactions don’t end up being better than they otherwise would then what’s the point?
