You’ve basically described exactly how we work at Vervoe so I totally agree. We try to work with the best people (meaning best for us) regardless of where they are or what engagement model they prefer. So long as we all share values and purpose.

That gives us huge flexibility. And the biggest challenge, as you pointed out, then becomes communication. Making sure everyone is coordinated, keeping a finger on the pulse in terms of how everyone is feeling, etc.

One of the biggest myths with remote working is that people won’t achieve as much or will slack off. My experience has been the opposite. With good people who are motivated, if they are given freedom they flourish.
