The Silver Series

Part I: Driving The American West.

The spirit and adventure of the American West is still best experienced on the road. A summer trip through Nevada, Utah, and Colorado — 3000 miles in two weeks — provided boundless inspiration. Even in these wondrous, technology-driven times, the ancient world west of the Rocky Mountains remains distinctly American and infinitely primitive; a place where time is marked not in minutes, but in millennia. These photographs are collected in my new book, “The Silver Series: Shadows and The Light.”
