Foreign companies KNOW about industries because they purchase data, take the time to identify credible data providers. I know because as a researcher, we work with PEs trying to enter the market, and they understand the importance of it. However in contrast, many Nigerian potential clients think it’s all hocus-pocus rubbish, fear it, or think they can just get the numbers themselves anyway. That’s the difference. If a researcher handed most people Konga’s numbers they would say that’s BS but alas here we are. So it’s a good thing when companies start becoming more open, so we can have more corroborating evidence of what we are seeing out there when we talk to people.
