Since Nigeria is plagued with financial instability, also known as Sapa, the planned tour had more inquiries than financial commitment. A lot of persons wanted to come, but understandably, travelling is not a priority in today’s Nigeria.

After a month of intense marketing (that the startup could afford), the tour had to be converted to a custom trip. A week to the day of the tour, I was not certain I would be on the hills of Idere on Saturday. At this point, the only thing that kept me going, was the little “Well dones”, “Reposts” , “Reactions”, “Emojis” and the thought of new pictures with aesthetic pleasure.

To young CEOs or WhatsApp Managing Director; let me reiterate that, if at least two friends from your circle/support system has not patronized you or your business, please, call them out. Hear their responses and act accordingly. I discovered that if your support system carries your matter on their head, the brand name and identity spreads like wildfire and that is how growth and collaboration works!

This is the first part of My Idere Crucible. My Idere Crucible is a detailed logbook of events from the customized Idere Hills Tour packaged by Omoluabi Adventours. The second part of My Idere Crucible will be out soon. Don’t forget to give me a review and ask me questions.

Thank you!
