Why are you part of the Open Sky Incubator and what are you most excited to experience?
I am a trainer, a learner and a person who wants to make things better. Who better to take things to the next level then visionaries and entrepreneurs? I believe Open Sky could be a stepping stone for something new — I want to be there to help in some small way.
What’s your passion?
Technologies of all kinds! Learning, listening and the development of new technologies to make things better for all types of reasons. As we mature as humans the use of technologies will change and we are going to be able to take advantage of this by becoming more efficient by using cleaner more effective technology. My hero is Elon Musk!
What technology trend will affect our lives the most in the next 10 years?
I believe that IOT — Smart Cities, self-driving cars and people working with the environment rather than against it will enhance our lives within the next 10 years.

If you had one thing to say to the tech community, what is your message?
Technologies are ever changing, so let’s make a change for the better by investing in this area and ideas that are home grown.
What makes Kitchener-Waterloo so special with regard to technology and startups?
I had my own small company in Cambridge, working with the community was stellar. The Universities and College really give the feel like there is something happening all the time. This is the vibe of the city so Technology is here and growing…now we just have to find the next big thing first.
