HOW TO QUIT PORN : THE POWER OF HABIT BY CHARLES DUHIGG ANIAMTED BOOK REVIEW

The book has nothing to do with porn addiction but the main concept is habit formation so i wanted to mix it up with some tips i came up with that helped me quit porn . If you’re not a porn addict this video will not be of great help but you can watch it as a book review :) Porn addicts are used to higher levels of dopamine than the people who don’t watch porn on a regular basis . So IF YOU DON’T HAVE PROBLEMS WITH PORN SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS OR THE INTERNET ARE NOT GOING TO BE HARMFUL FOR YOU . A porn user’s brain will detect anything that is of high value in any environment he’s in , value for his brain is : partial nudity ads — movies — video games , anything that contains a ‘virtual female’ . what i advise you to do is to change your online habits (games/movies/tv/youtube) with offline proactive habits like socializing , do this for about 6 months . Do that and your brain will get re-addicted on lower levels of dopamine (healthy food — socializing — exercising etc ) after that you’re good to go . This is probably one of the most difficult habits you could possibly try to break , it took me about 1 year of nofap challenges , cold showers and other tactics to get myself off of it . if this doesn’t help , try to sell your computer on ebay or something haha . Am not going to go in details on ‘how porn is bad for you’ i tried to make it as practical as possible . Enjoy :)
