OrbCity Season 3 will begin next week.
Before we open it, we’d like to announce some information about season 3.
Season 3: OrbCity Updates
1.OrbCity Season 3
- Season 3 Start Dates: Jan 26th, 2023
- Season 3 End Dates: TBA in Discord
2.OrbCity Migration to Polygon
- Migration Dates: Jan.17 ~ Feb.16, 2023
Our community voted through our governance portal to migrate out of Klaytn. The team decided to support our community’s decision, and we are currently working on migrating all NFTs to Polygon and all tokens to ERC-20 and Polygon.

3.Get Lay Changes
- Mining time
- one time “Get Lay” per day -> three times “Get Lay” per day
- Daily mining amount is the same as before - Lay-Bour
- In the new Season, non-landholders can click the “Get Lay” button instead of landholders and earn a reward, $Scrap. If Lay-Bourer is lucky, with a 20% chance, the users can get a quarter of the tax that the landholder pays. In addition, the holder of the relevant land will also receive a tax deduction, a quarter of the tax with the same probability. (If landholders click the “Get Lay” button on their land, there will be no deduction of taxes.)
- OrbCity has named the above system ‘Lay-Bouring’.

4.Get Orb Changes
- The existing ‘Open Pool 5%’ has been changed to ‘LP Pool (Open Pool) 4%’.
- The LP tokens in Open Pool will not be burned.
- Users can deposit and withdraw anytime. - 3 Days Pool 7.5% (4LV) -> 14% (4LV)
- 7 Days Pool 7.5% (3LV) -> 14% (3LV)
- 14 Days Pool 15% (2LV) -> 14% (2LV)
- 30 Days Pool 35% (Open Pool) -> 24% (1LV)
- Get Orb Pools with the lock-up period has been changed to be used by landlords and building owners. - A new ‘Lay Parts Pool 19% (Burn Pool)’ has been added.
- Lay Parts Pool will begin when the Lay 007 laboratory is phased into the OrbCity ecosystem. - A new ‘Lay Token Pool 5% (Burn Pool)’ has been added.
- A new ‘Scrap Pool 2% (Burn Pool)’ has been added.
- LP Pool 30% (Burn Pool) -> 4%
- The LP tokens in Burn Pool will not be entirely burned but will be moved to our community treasury. The transferred LP tokens are used to provide continuous liquidity in the future. - Each Burn Pool has the same daily allocation, so you can get rewards in proportion to the amount you put in when Burn Pool reset.
*Note: All Burn Pools will be reset daily, not any more season pool. So be careful using each burn pool.

5.Minting (Get Districts) Changes
- Existing Countries Changes
- The number of remaining lands in the Philippines, Vietnam, and Thailand has been reduced to 30. - New Countries Open
- Qatar (Doha)
- Brazil (Sao Paulo) - The minting method and cost will be changed when Lay 007 laboratory is phased into the OrbCity ecosystem.
- We will announce some detailed information about the method and cost of the ‘Get Districts’ later.
6.Membership System(Points) Changes
- Orb point’s formula (Orb Staking)
- Orb_point = x * Orb_price / Lay_price (1 $Orb Staked)
- x = 20 (x can be adjusted by governance)
The above formula has been phased in to balance the membership points according to the volatility of the Lay price and the Orb price. Accordingly, Orb’s membership points change dynamically.
- Lay Points = Constant (Get Orb)
- LP Pool (Open Pool): 1 $LP Staked = TBA
- 3 Days Pool (4LV): 1 $Lay Staked = 50 points
- 7 Days Pool (3LV): 1 $Lay Staked = 35 points
- 14 Days Pool (2LV): 1 $Lay Staked = 25 points
- 30 Days Pool (1LV): 1 $Lay Staked = 25 points
- Lay Parts Pool (Burn Pool): 1 Lay Parts(NFTs) Staked = TBA
- Lay Tokens Pool (Burn Pool): 1 $Lay Staked = 50 points
- Scrap Pool (Burn Pool): 0 points
- LP Pool (Burn Pool): 1 $LP Staked = TBA
*Note: Burn Pool’s membership points are reset every season.

Season 3: OrbCity Upcoming Systems
1.Lay Laboratory
You’ll be able to manage your Lay 007 Robot(NFTs) and its Parts(NFTs). You’ll be able to assemble different colors and forms of Lay Parts. Collect extraordinary parts NFTs to show off and unlock new opportunities. Finally, Name your LAY 007 Robot as a collection.
- Lay Parts (NFTs)
- Users can get Lay parts(NFTs) by using Lay tokens.
- Users can create Lay 007 Robot(NFTs) by assembling Lay Parts
- Users can get $Orb(Tokens) by participating Lay Parts Pool (Burn Pool). - Lay Robot (NFTs)
- Users can get land districts by sending Lay 007 Robot to explore.
- Users can construct the building by using Lay 007 Robot.
- Discover LAY series.Current version of LAY is #007. Collect LAY robot series to unlock key to the secret vault.

2.Building NFTs
- Minting
