How to Get a Job — The Fast Way
Don’t waste time waiting for your application to be approved.
What process do you employ when searching for a job? Do you simply respond to job ads by filling out the application and submitting your resume?
If so, you should know that this is not an effective strategy for getting a job quickly. There are potentially hundreds if not thousands of other people applying for the same job. The economics doesn’t make sense. There’s way too much supply of applicants competing to fill that single position.
Sometimes a company may need another employee to fill a position, but for some reason, it has not posted an ad on a job search website. This is the perfect time to get your foot in the door before the rest of the competition arrives. Don’t wait for them to advertise the job position. Try to get in contact with them before that happens.
