Leadership is always tricky, i run a small luxury company with 15–17 employees in South Africa, we have two retail shops and a factory space, we retail and wholesale to maybe 20–30 retailers nation wide. The single biggest piece of advice i could share, is get the culture right, work hard in forming a work focused culture within your organisation, once the culture is right, the business almost works on its own, your the leader, your the change agent and thinker of great possibilities in the company, stay that, don’t improvise and become a one of the works team members. Schedule your activities and stay focused on your end goal and most of all Enjoy it, its tons of fun and worth it!
