Maryanne — very nicely written and some great insight about luxury brands and their African Luxury Strategy. i have been reading a few books on luxury retail, that have given me some great insight into the world luxury markets, the names of the books are Luxury Retail by Michel Chevelair, you’ve probably read this book already.

We own a shop in Hyde Park Corner in Johannesburg, and are growing our luxury foot print slowly but surely over time. We now have a shop in Franschhoek, and would like to open thrre more stores in the next year.
