I spend a lot of time compiling and polishing other people’s resumes, and I’m confused as to why on earth, with what bits and pieces I know about your background, you’d have to lie on yours.
I’m thinking maybe our definitions of “lying” and “truth” might be different. Maybe your definition of “lying” is a lot broader than mine and your definition of “truth” is narrower…? I’d be curious as to what you consider, for instance, to be “lying by omission”, in the specific context of resume-writing.
On an unrelated note, I’m going to guess your resume is terrible even if your career has been great, because every really intellectually brilliant person I’ve ever done resumes for has been mind-bogglingly bad at compiling and organizing their own resume. I can look over yours for you, if you want.
