“Fitness” There is no golden approach
A large portion of people what to change their lifestyles and improve their general well-being. As a personal trainer about 98% of the club members I talk to want to know the fastest way possible to drop weight. Which I understand given most people have busy work schedules, kids, or other matters that weigh more than iron.
There is no perfect approach that works for every situation. Yes there are ways to fastball beginners or those who are new to the gym setting. The real key lies in what you enjoy; hiking, weight training, running, swimming or bodyweight circuits. It’s a lifestyle, a pace, you really have to get into. Everyone wants to keep the progress they get after a month. When you do a 12 week program but just fall back into what you did before its all going to be for nothing.
When you wake up one morning and decide “today is the today” and go do it. Make it enjoyable, make it fun, and most importantly do it for yourself. Don’t do it for anyone else. It’s your goddamn life, and your goddamn body. Enjoy what you do and the grind will turn into a hobby and the hobby will turn into the lifestyle that you want.
