What does Liberty and Freedom mean to you? Do you enjoy Liberty & Freedom? What if we didn’t have Liberty & Freedom? What would that look like? Doesn’t that scare you? There may be a time in the near future where we are NOT FREE! Are you a patient person? We may have to wait in long lines to get food or wait months before we get in to see a doctor for something as simple as a check-up: your life or the life of someone you love will most likely be affected by this. Take Venezuela for example; they have to wait in long lines to get food, medicine, and even toilet paper a lot of times they don’t get anything they need and very well may die or starve to death trying. Venezuela used to be the wealthiest Country in South America. What do you suppose happened? Well I’ll tell ya, Socialism happened!

Citizens Protest and Riot Over Food Shortage. Venezuela Socialism!

Lets first answer a couple of those questions I asked at the beginning of this post. “What does Liberty and Freedom mean to you?” Liberty and Freedom are synonyms. Liberty is the ability to do as one pleases. In politics, Liberty consists of the social, political, and economic freedoms all people are entitled too. In philosophy, liberty involves free will as contrasted with determinism. In theology, liberty is freedom from the effects of sin, spiritual servitude or worldly ties. I love the Liberty & Freedom I have been granted by my creator. “What if we didn’t have Liberty & Freedom?” The country would probably look like Venezuela and/or a third world Country. “Doesn’t that scare you?” Yes, that scares the shit out of me. Mainly for my children. There’s no reason anybody should be a slave to the State. Socialism has never worked anywhere it has been implemented. It might seem great at first but eventually, you run out of other peoples money. Looks good on paper but as long as humans are running things there will always be someone who wants more power. According to “The Balance” Socialism’s Advantages are “Workers are no longer exploited because they own the means of Production” Wrong the Government will own the means of production. “Profits are spread “EQUITABLE” among all workers according to their individual contribution. The left loves fairness & equality.” Here’s the best advantage of them all, but doesn’t work and has not worked anywhere except where Capitalism is implemented. “The system eliminates poverty. It provides equal access to health care and education. No one is discriminated against.” Maybe on paper, it should eliminate poverty, but the truth of the matter is that’s false. The Government has control meaning they get the money and the power and the people get NOTHING! Wake up America!!!

What is Socialism? Well, Socialism is a social and economic doctrine that calls for public rather than private ownership or control of the property and natural resources. According to the socialist view, individuals do not live or work in isolation but live in cooperation with one another. Furthermore, everything that people produce is in some sense a social product, and everyone who contributes to the production of a good is entitled to a share in it. Society as a whole, therefore, should own or at least control property for the benefit of all its members. The definition suggests that the people or the community has control of the property or resource. That is not the case the Government will have control, the only people to benefit will be people in the Government and probably only people in the high office of the Government. Look at what’s happening in Venezuela. Not Good!

What is Capitalism? Capitalism is an economic system in which capital goods are owned by private individuals or businesses. The production of goods and services is based on supply and demand in the general market (market economy), rather than through central planning (planned economy or command economy). The purest form of capitalism is free market or laissez-faire capitalism, in which private individuals are completely unrestrained in determining where to invest, what to produce or sell and at which prices to exchange goods and services, operating without checks or controls. Most modern countries practice a mixed capitalist system of some sort that includes government regulation of business and industry. If the Government didn’t have so many regulations Capitalism would work a lot better. Capitalism has lifted more people out of poverty than any other economic system. They don’t call America “The land of Opportunity” because of Socialism. Immigrants don’t migrate here because of no opportunity, they come here because of the opportunity and it’s the land of the free, NOT FREE STUFF!

In conclusion, if you weigh the pros and cons of Socialism I believe you will find that the cons win and Captialism takes the prize. Take a look around and check out the places that has Socialism and I don’t mean Socialist programs because America has a bunch of them I mean that is fully Socialist like Venezuela or another place that the Government has full control of production. Perhaps I will dig deeper in a future post because this is so important to get people educated about Socialism. Remember if it sounds to good to be true it probably is… I’ll leave you with this question, Why is Capitalism so hated among the Left?
