What’s Your Sonic Boom?

We’ve all heard it. We’re in the middle of the gig economy. Everyone has a hustle. Or five. And if you’ve got your own social media account (hint: if you’re reading this, you do) you’ve got a brand.

Remember when Andy Warhol said everyone would be famous for 15 minutes? Now, it’s more like everyone is famous for 15 followers. And a lot of us aren’t satisfied with just 15.

In the movie Fight Club, Tyler Durden tells his acolytes:

We’ve all been raised on television to believe that one day we’d all be millionaires and movie gods and rockstars. But we won’t. And we’re slowly learning that fact.

So, Tyler is half right. Most people won’t become millionaires and movies gods and rockstars.

BUT: and here’s the news that’s going to empower or cripple you, the ONLY thing stopping you from being a millionaire, movie god, rockstar, or anything else you want to be… IS YOU.

That’s right. You have the power to be whatever you want to be. It’s never been easier to be an entrepreneur (or an intrepreneur).

But to get to that success, you’re going to have to be better, faster, and stronger than you ever thought you could be. And, more than all of that that, you’re going to have to be persistent as hell. You’re going to have to break your own personal sound barrier and hit your sonic boom.

So, if you’re on that journey, or looking to get started, let’s be wingmen and wingwomen and share our knowledge as we walk down this path together.

And be sure to follow as next time, we’ll go deeper into the science and history of sonic booms so we can apply it to our own journeys.

Soaring high,
