Gene Chesc — You can use the content property like this:

.backLbl:after {
content: ' to the story';

You’re a bit limited with this since you can only target before or after pseudoelements with the content property, so you can’t change/remove the word “back,” you can only add text to it (like I did with “Back to the Story”).

There might be a way to hide the current “Back” label and add a new one, but that might get tricky because I think you’d have to resize a few other elements to make that work.
