A team of Yale MBA students is working on a feasibility study for Impact Hub Accra’s long term impact in healthcare innovation. They are presently touring Health facilities to ascertain the challenges they are facing and ways in which entrepreneurship can be useful to the health community.

Yesterday we visited the Bemuah Royal Hospital an American Heart and Lung center in Ghana. The first picture below is a private hospital that can explore experimental and innovative niche techniques to suit specific health needs.

The next picture is a training simulation doll; with emerging innovations and technology the hospital can learn to train its staff and use online resources to keep up with technology.

The third picture is a machine they use for detecting heart issues, a growing challenge in Ghana presently because people need to be aware of the signs to seek treatment.

As entrepreneurs and medical professionals, what are the ways which we can create solutions to such challenges and minimise the rates of preventable death? What are the right measures to put in place? Health Hack Accra is one way we at Impact Hub Accra and Hack for Big Choices are coming to help tackle these challenges.
