Friendly (not at all) local insurance sales person, having a geeky moment and requesting a more detailed breakdown of what your insurance policy includes. Your rates really don’t sound all that crazy to me (especially if we’re comparing it to what people are paying over the years to insure their kids starting at age 16), but of course that depends on your location and what’s included, and what’s normal where I live probably has little to say about what you’re paying.
