My mom will be up this weekend from Saturday evening until sometime Sunday. I plan to make her dinner Saturday night with a dessert, and gift her some chocolates from our local chocolatier, and a card, and…I don’t know what else. I feel like I should have an additional *thing* to give her. I hit up the grocery store today for the food and card, which was about $60. She asked a week ago for a garden stake like the one I have, which was a gift, and I haven’t had a chance to look for one in a store. I will probably order her one and mail it to her house, and put a picture of it in her card. $25ish? And I might stop back at the grocery store for some tomatoes, let’s say $4.

Other than that, I don’t plan to spend anything. My tax return came through, and I used a little to pay some bills and threw the rest in my savings. I don’t get paid again until the 16th, so the money in my checking account needs to last me until then.
