Blas will still be falling over, only now he is doing it for Vancouver Whitecaps.

FC Dallas look to add to their lead at the top of the Western Conference tonight against the Vancouver Whitecaps.

The Whitecaps last win came almost a month ago so the team will be anxious to give the home fans a victory. They currently sit second to last at the bottom of the Western Conference.

Tonight will be a firm test of the revised back line as FC Dallas are without their captain, Matt Hedges, following his surgery to repair his knee. The pairing of Walker Zimmerman and Zac Loyd held their own against Sporting Kansas City last week, but there were definitely some nervy moments.

Look for Dallas to stay with the 4–4–2 formation that has worked so well in the last several weeks without Mauro Diaz. Without Hedges, Dallas could shift to a 4–2–3–1 to provide a bit more defensive cover away from home.

Another exciting thing about tonight’s match will be FC Dallas having to deal with the mercurial Blas Perez. Perez is a striker that many FC Dallas fans have a love/hate relationship with, and it will be interesting to see the FC Dallas team potentially having to deal with Perez’s “dark arts”.
