I agree with everything you say. I might add, however, that when you start truly from scratch, finding the dream team is not that easy. I am there now. Especially before funding. Founders that succeed stay excited about their goals. They are relentless in their desire to see an idea become reality. It takes work, disappointment, and the ability to keep moving when others would quit. Great founders are usually not about money. It is something entirely different.
