A New Black Think Tank Could Boost African-Americans Across Texas

Thank you, James Ragland for this article and your thoughts. We are excited about the opportunity to not just identify and train leaders, but to reach deep down inside of the issues that have produced generations of people who have lived their lives in under-resourced and dysfunctional communities. Texas, and on a larger scale this country, should have an African American community where every child and family has access to high-performing schools, thriving community-based businesses, and hope. That’s where this is headed.

Welcome to the next iteration of ‪#‎nationbuilding‬. (www.theaali.org) You can invest in a better Texas by going to www.pqc.edu and indicating that you want your donation to go to the African American Leadership Institute.‪#‎WEGotNow‬ — Michael J. Sorrell, Paul Quinn College President
