The best way to find a job in China is directly recommended by acquaintances who work for a company in China. While it takes time to develop such connections. So If you do not own such guanxi (connection), try the following ways:

- Get help from job sites.
There are plenty of job sites available in China. With these sites, you can expect to get a response as long as you send your job application.
Here are some popular job sites: Zhaopin, 51 Job, Lagou, etc. Job postings on these sites are mostly in Chinese, so you need to improve your Chinese first. - Directly contact a hiring manager.
Writing a short but effective targeted email might be the best way to get a potential employer’s attention. In this email, you need to accurately express your unique value as it applies to your audience’s interests and concerns. - Try teaching positions in China.
English teaching jobs are available at high schools, universities and private language schools. Candidates need a government-issued public school teaching certificate and should plan on attending the on-site interviews. English teaching jobs normally require that you are a native speaker and have an English teaching certificate like the TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language). - Building up your “guanxi” network.
Try to force yourself to participate in networking events, and do not only look for the ones targeted to English speakers. The phrase “能换一下名片吗?“ (can we exchange business cards?) is a great greeting word. Always ask new connections for their business card or contact information. If you want to meet them again, ask them for coffee (or maybe for tea in China).
5. Take full advantage of LinkedIn and WeChat.
Before coming to China, you should download WeChat and link your linnkedIn to it. On your resume, you can add your WeChat ID at the top which will make it easy for potential employers to get in contact with you.
