The Cohen brothers’ latest film is an anthology of life in the Wild West full of action but mainly messages with the main theme of death. Starring Tim Blake Nelson Willie Watson, Clancy Brown, Danny McCarthy, Thomas Wingate, etc.

The film is a series of six independent stories that mentally transport the viewer to the wild west. The stories are not all western with the usual term, battles with weapons between cowboys, sheriffs, etc. There is of course this version in the six stories but most of the stories vary. There are wanted persons. We watch gunfights in the far west. We watch also freak shows, acclaimed hunters, caravans of people looking for a better future, etc.

Cohens analyze through the stories all the morphology of the people of the time as well as the conditions of their life at every level.Τhe stories have suspense and are interesting. Their independent character does not tire the viewer while the film remains focused on the progress of its plot.

However, the absence of the main protagonists during the film does not create a bond with the protagonists, and also because the stories are short they do not develop to a large extent the protagonists. At the same time…
