Email is the basis of so much of our communication, from being alerted about a new Twitter follower, to sending photos of a recent trip to Santorini.
It holds everything that’s important to you. And yet, it hasn’t changed much from its original design.
At Paperfold, we’ve taken on this challenge.
This week we’re publishing Paperfold 1.0, on the App Store for iPad. It’s been a long time coming and we’re excited (to say the least) to have it finally available! Its our first step on the journey to a more fun email experience.
Introducing Paperfold
With Paperfold, we’re trying to make email visual, accessible and most of all, fun to use.
Get Folding
Paperfold lets you sign in with an email account and and turns it into Tiles, laid out as two columns. Swiping from right to left, the Tiles, ‘fold’ letting you see more of your emails.
Access Content
Each tile responds to the content of the email. When receiving a YouTube video link, the embedded video will display in the Tiles. When you tap it, the video will begin to play. And this is just the beginning…
Browse With Ease
Emails are filled with links, which when clicked, usually on throw you out of your inbox. With Paperfold, you can engage with links and stay within your email while you browse the web.
Attachments Made Easy
Attachments end up buried in emails, under text, signatures, and links. You expend extra taps getting to them. To make them easier to find and view, in Paperfold, attachments are listed neatly at the top of each email.

We’re a small team, trying to make email feel good. We’re improving the app weekly with new features and bug fixes so your input helps us a lot.
