Parallel Crowdloan Successfully Completed, Related Pages to Close on August 1st
We are thrilled to announce that Parallel’s on-chain ecological product, Crowdloan, based on Polkadot, has achieved remarkable success over the past two years. Among these, cDOT-6/13, cDOT-7/14, cDOT-8/15 and cDOT-9/16 corresponded to the following voting projects:
- cDOT-6/13: Acala, Moonbeam, Astr, Parallel, Clovr
- cDOT-7/14: HydraDX, Interlay, Phala
- cDOT-8/15: Unique Network, Litentry, Bifrost
- cDOT-9/16: Aventus
Through Parallel Crowdloan, users voted for these projects using DOT, and Parallel issued cDOT-6/13, cDOT-7/14, cDOT-8/15, and cDOT-9/16 certificates to these voting users.
The cDOT-6/13, cDOT-7/14, cDOT-8/15, and cDOT-9/16 Crowdloan businesses have now successfully completed their missions. We are proud of the success achieved and sincerely thank every user for their support and trust. Parallel will officially close the cDOT-6/13, cDOT-7/14, cDOT-8/15, and cDOT-9/16 related functions on August 1, 2024.
About cDOT Crowdloan
Parallel developed parallel Crowdloan based on the Polkadot chain. Previously, users could participate in Polkadot’s slot auctions by voting DOT in the Crowdloan and receiving cDOT certificates issued by Parallel. Holders of cDOT could trade in the secondary market or stake cDOT in the Parallel Money Market to participate in lending activities.
The slot leases of the voting projects corresponding to cDOT-6/13, cDOT-7/14, cDOT-8/15, and cDOT-9/16 have expired. Due to the high maintenance costs, Parallel has decided not to introduce new on-chain voting projects for cDOT-6/13, cDOT-7/14, cDOT-8/15, and cDOT-9/16. Parallel Crowdloan has enabled the redemption function for all users, allowing all holders of cDOT-6/13, cDOT-7/14, cDOT-8/15, and cDOT-9/16 to redeem them for the original DOT through the Parallel Crowdloan page.
As of July 19, 2024, there are still 179,920.8 cDOT-8/15 and 1,779.92 cDOT-9/16 on Parallel Crowdloan. We remind you once again that Parallel will cease maintenance and redemption of cDOT-6/13, cDOT-7/14, cDOT-8/15, and cDOT-9/16 in two weeks. To ensure the safety of your assets, please redeem them by August 1.
How to Redeem Your cDOT Through Parallel Crowdloan
Parallel has now enabled the redemption function for all users. If you hold cDOT-6/13, cDOT-7/14, cDOT-8/15, and cDOT-9/16 and have not yet redeemed your DOT, please follow the instructions below to redeem your DOT by August 1, 2024.
- Visit the Parallel official website: https://app.parallel.fi/
- Click on “APPs”, select the Polkadot chain, and then click on “Crowdloan” to enter the Crowdloan page.
3. Connect your wallet, click the “Redeem DOT” button at the top right, and follow the prompts to select the batch you wish to redeem. Your DOT will be successfully redeemed within 10 minutes without any redemption period.
