Not all that long ago, Rippetoe posted a video on his Starting Strength youtube channel where he combined
1) a can of diet rootbeer
2) 2 tbs of half & half
3) plain protein powder (an awful lot, 75g)
Generalized protein powder shame and, to a lesser extent, trepidation about putting a carbonated beverage in a blender have stopped me from trying this concoction. One imagines you could scale back the protein volume to something sane. If someone braver than me tries this, do report back.
